Why is it that feet smell and noses run?
Freedom!!! Two hours ago I was a uni student struggling to complete an assignment, now I am free for 2 whole weeks!!!
I’ve been asked to update but there isn’t much to say. Wisdom teeth dday is on the 21st of Sept when you’ll all be up at Steph’s eating potluck food.
Census officially ended some 6 days ago and I must say that was a wonderful day!My uni student habits haven’t really improved; I was struggling to complete four assignments due today and took almost to the last minute to submit them. The garage sale is still happening Sept 30th and any donations would be fabulous!
Also LIBBY IS GETTING BACK – How exciting!
Well it’s been a while since I went on about Cambodia (yes, it excites me) so feel free to ignore what I write below because I have been told that I talk about it too much. Last weekend was awesome; I went to Murray Bridge to meet this girl, Sally (a friend of a friend) who is going to Cambodia with me. I was relieved to find that she was really nice and as tall as me!! Hannah (my friend who introduced me to Sally because she knew her brother) drove us up there and we spend the day ‘crusing the town’ , ie going to the billion different fast food places , visiting this moving bunyip thing (that sadly didn’t work), experiencing the ‘whale’ and going to this scrubland with a little cave named the wherb. It was excellent to meet this whole Murray bridge group and as we drove around the town we kept picking up randoms (well they knew them but I couldn’t have told them apart from a bar of soap- most stupid expression ever because clearly any human looks different to soap unless you’re blind and even if you touch both, soap is like slimy or hard while humans have skin… I suppose if you have no hands and are blind.) Anyway im very excited about Cambodia even though it’s still quite a while away. I bought my Brisbane ticket this week (I go to Brisbane for 2 weeks and then to Cambodia for 3) and a bunch of gear I need. Hannah is possibly the nicest person I have ever met and she lent me all this travel gear which is so good as getting together the money for this trip has been quite a challenge! So yes everything is coming together well and I have a bunch of prayer cards printed out so if you want one, I’ll be happy to give you one.
Late last night I saw 2:37 ( I sadly missed trannies because I finished oxfam at 5:30 and needed Mum read through my journalism leads to see if they made sense.) Anyway at about 8ish Tess, Lachie, Leah, Jen and I (lol, I realise that most of you who read this have no idea who these people are) headed off the Marion to watch this adelaide made movie. Two of the scenes were kind of awful (aka the suicide and the rape) but it was alright, I prefer my chick flicks any day of the week though! It was cool to see St Ignatius school in the movie and as I played sport a lot there during school, I was all excited when the oval flashed up on the screen! Overall I’d give it five out ten; it was a little too gloomy for my liking.
Well must go crawl around some pubs….
Cheerio
